Our academy is committed to providing a professional, respectful and safe learning environment. All students attending courses are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the standards of the professional hair, beauty and aesthetics industry.

By enrolling in training with the academy, students agree to adhere to the following code of conduct.

Professional Behaviour

Students must behave in a respectful and professional manner at all times towards trainers, staff, fellow students and models.

The academy operates with a zero-tolerance approach to:

  • Bullying or harassment
  • Discriminatory behaviour
  • Aggressive or disruptive conduct
  • Any behaviour that negatively impacts the learning environment

Professional conduct is expected both in person and in all forms of communication, including social media and online groups connected with the academy

Respect for the Learning Environment

Students must help maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

Students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time and ready to participate
  • Follow all instructions given by trainers
  • Allow others the opportunity to learn without interruption
  • Treat academy facilities, equipment and products with care

Any damage to academy property caused through misuse may result in the student being liable for repair or replacement.

Professional Standards & Hygiene

As future professionals in the hair, beauty and aesthetics industry, students are expected to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation.

Students must:

  • Wear appropriate professional attire
  • Maintain good personal hygiene
  • Follow all infection prevention and hygiene protocols
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

Failure to follow hygiene or safety procedures may result in removal from the practical session.

Confidentiality & Client Respect

Students must respect the privacy and confidentiality of models, clients, and fellow students.

Students must not:

  • Share client information
  • Record or photograph models or treatments without consent
  • Post academy training content or client images on social media without permission

Confidentiality is a key professional standard within the aesthetics and beauty industry.

Safe Practice

Students must always work within the scope of the training being delivered and follow the guidance of the trainer.

Students must:

  • Only perform treatments they are instructed to perform during the course
  • Follow all safety and treatment protocols
  • Immediately report any concerns or incidents to the trainer

The academy prioritises safety at all times.

Mobile Phones & Distractions

Mobile phones must be kept on silent during training sessions.

Phones should only be used for:

  • Training purposes
  • Break periods
  • When permitted by the trainer

Distractions that interfere with learning may result in the student being asked to leave the session

 

Attendance & Participation

Students are expected to attend all scheduled training sessions and actively participate.

Late arrival, repeated absence or lack of participation may impact the student’s ability to successfully complete the course.

Academic Integrity

Students must complete all coursework, case studies and assessments honestly

Any form of plagiarism, falsification of case studies or dishonest behaviour will not be tolerated

Students must not submit work that has been copied from another person, source or student and present it as their own. Students must complete all coursework, case studies and assessments honestly. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and may impact the students ability to successfully compete the course.

Social Media & Professional Reputation

Students are expected to behave professionally when referencing the academy or their training on social media.

Students must not:

  • Misrepresent their qualification
  • Make misleading claims about treatments
  • Post negative or defamatory comments about the academy, staff or fellow students

Professional reputation is vital within the hair, beauty and aesthetics industry.

Breach of Code of Conduct

Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • A verbal or written warning
  • Removal from a training session
  • Suspension from the course
  • Termination of training without refund in serious cases

The academy reserves the right to take appropriate action where behaviour compromises safety, professionalism, or the learning environment.

Agreement

By enrolling in training with the academy, students confirm that they have read, understood and agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
